These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Snaplinks web and mobile applications, browser extensions, APIs, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by SteerScale Consulting Kft., a Hungarian private company limited by shares with its registered office at K802, 4 Mariássy Street Budapest 1095 Hungary (tax ID HU 32377567) (“Snaplinks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By registering an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

1. You must have the legal capacity to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

2. Registration may be completed via email address or supported social-login providers, and may require payment details when purchasing paid plans.

3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. The Service

Snaplinks helps users collect web links, queue them for later reading, and surface insights through an AI-powered knowledge base. Unless otherwise stated, all new features that augment or enhance the Service are subject to these Terms.

3. Plans, Fees & Refunds

Snaplinks offers both one-time purchase and subscription-based pricing. Subscriptions are available with either monthly or annual billing and will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel beforehand.

If you choose the one-time purchase option, you pay once and receive lifetime access to the applicable features. Refunds for one-time purchases are available within 14 days, provided the Service hasn’t been materially used during that time.

For subscriptions, we offer prorated refunds for the unused portion of your current billing cycle if you cancel and request a refund. All payments are processed through trusted third-party providers and may include applicable taxes, depending on your location.

You’re responsible for ensuring your payment details are accurate and up to date to avoid service interruption.

4. Permitted & Prohibited Use

1. Permitted: Saving URLs, organising them into queues or collections, and generating internal notes or AI summaries for personal or business knowledge management.

2. Prohibited:

• Using the Service to link to content that is illegal or infringes third-party rights.

• Reverse-engineering, scraping, or interfering with the Service’s operation.

• Circumventing fee structures or abusing promotional offers.

We reserve the right to remove links or suspend accounts that breach these rules or applicable law.

5. Intellectual Property

• Your Links. You retain any rights you have in the destination content referenced by your saved links. By submitting a URL, you grant Snaplinks a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display that link solely to provide the Service.

• Our Materials. The Service, including all software, design elements, and trademarks, is owned by Snaplinks and protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, revocable licence to use the Service as intended.

6. Data & Privacy

We collect email addresses, usage statistics, and technical data such as IP addresses to (a) operate and secure your account, (b) analyse Service performance, and (c) send marketing communications where legally permitted. We use third-party processors including Google Analytics, Amazon Web Services, Clerk, OpenAI, and MongoDB. For details, see our Privacy Notice.

7. Third-Party Content & Links

Snaplinks does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content of any external site linked through the Service. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

8. Availability & Support

The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. Snaplinks makes no warranties regarding uptime, reliability, or suitability for any purpose. Features may change without prior notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Snaplinks and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses—even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Snaplinks’ total liability for any claim arising from or relating to your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Snaplinks and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your links or their content, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you (a) fail to pay fees when due, (b) abuse the Service, or (c) otherwise violate these Terms. You may terminate at any time via your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but Sections 5–13 survive.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Budapest, Hungary.

13. Notices

Legal notices must be sent to hello@snaplinks.ai. We may send notices to the email address associated with your account.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email, in-app notification, and by posting the revised Terms online. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
